Location

Whitby is located within the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale in Perth’s south-east at the foot of the Darling Ranges. Over the coming years, the 500 hectares that make up Whitby will be transformed into the region’s new residential, social and economic heart.

Every detail has been considered to create new living, investment and business opportunities for the region, which will increase employment in the local area. This includes new schools for the thriving community and an abundance of community facilities.

A masterplanned community full of promise

On completion, Whitby will be home to an energised community of over 10,000 residents and 3,750 homesites. The Whitby masterplan has been designed to include all the amenity and infrastructure needed to ensure that happens. Everything from education facilities, including two primary schools and a high school, to a district shopping centre with major retailers and 75 specialty stores. There will be a thriving town square, restaurants and cafes, a library and numerous sport and recreational facilities.

You don’t have to go far from home to discover all the amenity that surrounds Whitby. You’re just two minutes from Mundijong Town Centre, five minutes from the Mundijong Family Practice and ten minutes from Byford Village Shopping Centre. Drop into nearby Millbrook Winery or King Road Brewing Co, get acquainted with the local water parks – there are three of them – or take a leisurely walk around beautiful Serpentine Falls, just 15 minutes away.
